What Is Coaching?
Coaching is a great fit for people in transition, wanting to meet a goal, feeling stuck, or just wanting to accelerate getting from where you are to where you want to be. Coaches use a process of inquiry, accountability, support, and feedback to help clients identify and achieve their goals faster and with greater ease. It's about helping you untangle your mind to get clear on what you want and combining your innate resourcefulness with evidence-based tools so you can show up how you want to in the world.
What Is Positive Psychology?
The scientific study of wellbeing and life satisfaction. Traditionally psychology has focused on relieving human suffering and getting clients back to baseline. Positive psychology focuses on what it takes to get people north of neutral. It explores the strengths and virtues that enable individuals, communities, and organizations to thrive. Below is a breakdown of the PERMA-V model, the building blocks of human flourishing, with evidence-based interventions to promote positive emotion, engagement, relationships, meaning, achievement, and vitality. My coaching incorporates my training in applied positive psychology to promote clients' wellbeing and fulfillment.
